IIM Ahmedabad Final Placements to Begin from February 13
The final placements for PGP students of 2017 at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad will begin from February 13, 2017.
The final placements for PGP students of 2017 at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad will begin from February 13, 2017. One of the officials associated with IIM-A revealed that the companies which offer similar job profiles are grouped cohorts. IIM-A follows ‘cluster cohort placement' process every year. This year, several cohorts will take part in the placement process in a particular cluster.

The interviews for the first cluster will be held on February 13, 2017, followed by the second cluster on February 16, 2017. Next, for the third cluster, interviews will be held on February 19, 2017.
The summer placements for PGP batch 2016-18 at IIMA concluded in December 2016. The interview process was carried out in three clusters, and the students have been placed successfully across 17 sectors and functions. The major recruiters during the summer placements were: -
- Accenture Strategy
- FinlQ
- Bank of America Merrill Lynch
- American Express
- Microsoft
- Amazon
A total number of 21 students bagged jobs in Amazon followed by 16 students in Accenture. These two companies were top recruiters during the summer placements. On the other hand, Microsoft recruited a total number of seven students.

The summer placements at Indian Institute of Management, Visakhapatnam have also concluded, and a total number of 48 students were offered paid internships. The summer placements were conducted in two phases where a total number of 21 students were recruited in the first phase, and in the second phase, a total number of 27 students were offered internship opportunities.
