IIT-BHU Ties Up With Amazon Web Services
- IIT BHU has collaborated with Amazon Web Services, a leading company in India, with an aim to provide free services computing, new technologies sectors etc.
- The MoU will help in global recognition and ranking of IIT BHU.
The Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi has collaborated with Amazon Web Services following which a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the two on 19th June 2018.
The collaboration will provide IIT (BHU) with free services in sectors such as computing, new technologies, datasets among others. It will also empower the students and faculty of the institute to focus more on research-oriented projects, training sessions and internship opportunities.

While signing the MoU, Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar addressed the gathering while elaborating on the importance of research and how it can benefit all sections of the society. As per him, the tie-up between the two will be mutually beneficial and will promote distinctive research programs. The step will also help to improve the institute’s ranking and global recognition.

IIT (BHU) came into existence in the year 2008 with an aim to strengthen national and international competitiveness. It is one of the renowned institutes for imparting technological knowledge through its undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes.
