IIT Delhi Announces 13th Edition of Open House, To Begin from April 22
IIT Delhi conducts Open House every year where the institute exhibits an extensive collection of product development, research, and innovative projects.
Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, has announced the 13th edition of Open House 2017. As per the official announcement, the Open House 2017 will begin on April 22, 2017. IIT Delhi conducts Open House every year where the institute exhibits an extensive collection of product development, research, and innovative projects. The institute also exhibits the laboratories and advanced facilities available in IIT Delhi.

Some of the significant projects that will be displayed during Open House 2017 are: -
- Saliva-based Non-Invasive Glucose Biosensor
- Automation of Ksharasutra Preparation
- ASM or Automatic Strap Mechanism for Motorcycle Helmet
- Nataraj – The Virtual Doctor to Diagnose Epilepsy
Director of Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, Prof. V. Ramagopal Rao exclaimed that they are proud to complete 12 editions of Open House and are now entering into its 13th edition. Open House 2017 will provide an opportunity to every visitor to experience the state-of-the-art innovations that were made by faculty and students of IIT Delhi. He emphasized that more innovation and research projects must come up so that it leads to the development of the country. IIT Delhi’s focus is on creating innovative projects that are useful to the society.

Alumni Association of IIT Delhi will award the best demo and poster of research projects on display. The exhibition is open for all from 10:00 am on April 22, 2017. The demonstrations for the visitors will close at 2:00 pm and the laboratories will be open to visitors until 4:00 pm.
