IMA to Meet Union Health Minister regarding NEET PG 2022 Postponement: Reports

According to the reports that are being received from various sources, a team of IMA is going to meet Union Health Minister – Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya seeking NEET PG 2022 postponement. However, there is no update on the exact time of the meeting, but information on the outcome of the meeting will be out shortly.

On May 10, 2022, several NEET PG 2022 aspirants participate in protests seeking NEET PG 2022 postponement. The protest was organized in several parts of the country. According to the surveys and polls conducted by different student medical associations, almost 90% of NEET PG 2022 aspirants are demanding postponement.

All India Medical Students Association (AIMSA) has gone a step ahead and filed a petition in Supreme Court to postpone the exam. The hearing is scheduled to be taken place on May 13, and the aspirants are eagerly waiting for a positive order from the apex court.

As postponing the exam is an internal policy decision of the exam authority, IMA is going to meet Health Minister so that their demand to postpone the exam can be met. Already, IMA had written to Union health Ministry seeking NEET PG 2022 postponement.

Once the meeting of IMA with the Union health Minister gets over, information on the outcome will; be updated. While the candidates have been doing several campaigns to postpone the exam for the past 25 days, there has been no response neither from the exam authority nor Union Health Ministry.
