The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has announced the official notification for the Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2023 batch today on August 16th 2022. The eligible candidates can apply online at the Indian Coast Guard recruitment portal from August 17 2022 (11.00 AM)  to September 7 2022(5.30 PM).

The Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant 2023 notification will be offering 50 posts of GD (General Duty) and Commercial Pilot, 20 Technical Positions (Engineering & Electrical) and 1 at the Law Department. The GD and Technical job positions are open only for male applicants.

ICG Assistant Commandant Notification 2023 Eligibility criteria

Age:

The applicant must be between 20 to 24 years of age. The Upper age relaxation is of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC applicants.

Educational Qualification Required:

1. General Duty (GD): 

• A graduation degree from any university recognised by UGC with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate; 
• Mathematics and Physics as mandatory subjects in class XIIth or equivalent with a 60% aggregate in Mathematics and Physics together

2. Commercial Pilot Entry:

• The applicants have an active and valid Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) issued by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and a Minimum qualification of class 12th (Physics and Mathematics) with 60% marks in aggregate.

3. Technical: 

• A Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology with 60% marks in aggregate, 
• A minimum of 60% marks aggregate in Class 12 (having Physics and Mathematics mandatory).

4. Law:

• LLB or equivalent from any university recognised by UGC with a minimum of 60% marks.

• Click on the link named ‘ICG Assistant Commandant Apply Online

• Fill out the Detailed Application form. It is to be noted that one applicant can apply for only one post as Assistant Commandant.

• Upload the scanned relevant documents required.

• Pay an Online Application Fee of INR 250/- (Except for the candidates from the SC/ST category) by using Net Banking/Credit/Debit Card.

• Print the application form after successful submission.
