Indraprastha University Admissions 2019

The prestigiousGuru Gobind Singh Indraprastha Universitywillsoon announce admissions forUG and PG coursesfor the academic session 2019-21. The university offers close to 33,000 seats across 166 affiliated colleges and 11 schools. Theadmission notificationof Indraprastha University will be released in March 2019.

In 2018, Indraprastha Universityalso launched somenew coursesin different fields for this academic session. The admissions process for these courses was mentioned by the university in the detailedadmission brochureavailable on the official website of the university.

Admission to all the courses is not done on the basis of the university’sCET. There are a few courses for which admissions will be done on the basis ofapplications, marks scored in the last qualifying exam and performance in Interviews. Following are some of the courses offered byIP Universitythat have no CET:

• MBA (weekend)
• M.Tech in CSE (weekend)
• M.Tech in ECE (weekend)
• LLM (weekend)

Note:Admission to M.Tech in Biotechnology will be done on the basis of score obtained by the aspirants inGATE.

The university has not released the admission notification for theB.Arch courses. Admission to these courses will be done on the basis ofNATAscore.

Centres for CET outside Delhi will be available only for theB.TechandMCA exams. Also, separate CET will be conducted for admission toB.EdandB.Ed (Special Education)courses. Candidates with Nepali citizenship can apply on the basis of eitherTOEFLor CETs.
