IP University Introduces Three PG Courses on Cybercrime, Victimology and Security
The new programmes introduced by GGSIPU are postgraduate diploma courses. The admissions for these courses have already begun. Interested candidates can apply latest by July 31.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) will be launching postgraduate courses in security and management, cybercrime and law and victimology and victim protection. The students of the university will get an opportunity to learn about the criminal justice system, crime victims and learn about ways to provide security.
The admission process for these three new courses at GGISPU has already begun from July 18th 2019 and the last date apply for the same is July 31st 2019. The classes are likely to start from August 16th in collaboration with Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science.
To be eligible for these courses. it is mandatory for the candidates to have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate. For Cybercrime and law course, candidates must have an IT (computers) background.

In the Security Management course, students will learn about physical and digital security and in the PG course on Cybercrime candidates will learn about the investigation of cybercrime, data collection, handling and others. In victimology and victim protection students will learn about India's criminal justice system, NGOs, welfare groups. These courses are gaining a lot of popularity these days as there are a number of job openings regarding the same. Demand for Cyber Security professionals is growing day by day.
