IPU CET 2017 B.Tech Exam Rescheduled, Application Deadline Extended
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University’s Common Entrance Test, popularly known as the IPU-CET for the year 2017 (B.Tech) has been rescheduled.
Leading university of the country, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University’s Common Entrance Test, popularly known as the IPU-CET for the year 2017 (B.Tech) has been rescheduled. It was earlier proposed to be held on 23rd April 2017. However, with the MCD or the Municipal Corporation of Delhi elections have been scheduled for that day following which the exam has been postponed to 20th May 2017.
The candidates who are willing to apply for the exam can do so until 1st May 2017, as the application deadline has also been extended. Earlier, the last date of application submission was 4th April 2017.

The university has made an attempt to change the schedule of the exam so that candidates appearing for the exam do not have to face any kind of inconvenience due to the rush of elections.
The Controller of Examinations of IPU, Mr. Pravin Chandra made the announcement in this regard earlier this week.

Interestingly, with the Board exams also delayed because of the elections, the students had been already complaining of less time of preparation for the entrance exams. Now that the IPU CET 2017 has been postponed too, the candidates who will be appearing for the exam will have time to study and prepare for the exam.
IPU CET 2017 is conducted in an offline mode every year for admissions to various courses such as B.Tech, BBA, BCA etc offered at the Indraprastha University in Delhi.
