NEET PG 2022 will be conducted on May 21, 2022. With the delay in the release of the official notification and the huge number of roadblocks that the NEET PG Counselling 2021 faced, aspirants, have been demanding the postponement of the conduction of an effective, fair and smooth examination this year.

However, even after repeated appeals to the Union Health Ministry, the Health Minister Shri Mansukh Mandviya and even the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the postponement demand has not been met. In fact, all ministries have remained tight-lipped about the entire matter. This has created a lot of pressure and distress in the minds of the NEET PG aspirants.

NEET PG 2022: Students’ Opinion on Postponement

Major news channels covered the outrage recently. Their reporters interviewed some of the students demanding that the NEET PG exam be postponed. Here is what some of these deeply worried aspirants had to say –

One of the students who seemed to be in the front of the protest said that with the counselling still not completed, it was hard-hearted to expect the students to continue to attend the counselling sessions held in different states as well as prepare and revise for one of the toughest examinations held in the country.

Another student reiterated what the first aspirant had said and added that NEET PG aspirants were already up to their eyeballs in stress, preparation and revision and did not even have the time to follow the news so much. Stressing how NEET PG aspirants did not have time for protests at all, he made it clear that even 5 minutes spent not studying could be detrimental for him.

Aspirants further talked about the 19 subjects that they had to prepare and revise in the remaining 10 days while also travelling to different states for the NEET PG 2021 counselling sessions. A female student further stated that going to different medical colleges in different states meant spending at least 5-6 days in one state. She questioned quite appropriately, “Where does that leave us with NEET PG 2022?”
