Supreme Court of India took up a hearing on the petition seeking NEET PG 2022 postponement on May 13, and it has dismissed the petition seeking exam postponement. The SC verdict on NEET PG 2022 postponement is most-awaited, and almost 90% of PG medical aspirants are seeking a postponement. The delay in the 2021 admission process resulted in chaos and uncertainty among aspirants regarding NEET PG 2022. Without concluding the PG medical admission process for the 2021 session, the schedule for the 2022 exam was announced. On the other hand, the issue of 5,000 interns who lost eligibility to appear for NEET PG 2022 is also mentioned in the petition.

Supreme Court Verdict on NEET PG 2022 Postponement

A bench led by Honourable Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice Surya Kanth heard the matter pertaining to NEET PG 2022 postponement.

For the past few weeks, the demand to postpone NEET PG 2022 has been increasing. On May 12, 2022, PG medical aspirants took part in a nationwide protest to intensify their demand to postpone exam ahead SC hearing.
