Finally, the Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE has released the admit card for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET 2017 after a delay of almost a week. The single entrance examination for MBBS/ BDS courses will take place on May 7, 2017. Recently, CBSE added 23 new test centres as the number of registrations were high compared to the previous year. Almost all the states made NEET mandatory for the admission to medical courses.

NEET-UG 2017: Procedure to Download Admit Card: -
- Firstly, access the official website of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE-NEET).
- Find the tab ‘Online Services’ and click on the relevant link under the tab.
- Candidate login is essential to download the admit card.
- Download and take the printout of admit card.
Initially, the centre introduced a cap on age limit and number of attempts. However, most of the candidates who are above 25 years of age lost eligibility to appear for NEET-UG 2017 examination. Some of the students filed petitions in Supreme Court seeking justice and the apex court removed the cap on age and number of attempts. Later, the application deadline for NEET-UG 2017 was extended for the candidates who are above 25 years of age.
The application process closed on April 5, 2017. NEET-UG 2017 will also be conducted in Urdu apart from ten regional languages from the year 2018. Supreme Court gave the final verdict on the inclusion of Urdu in NEET recently.
