NEET-UG 2017: Parents of English Medium Students Plan to Meet Javadekar

For the past ten days, CBSE has been receiving wide criticism regarding the tougher questions in regional question papers of NEET examination. Recently, the Education Minister of Gujarat assured that he would urge the centre to conduct re-examination for the candidates who took NEET examination in Gujarati medium.

However, the parents of English medium students were not happy with the announcement made by the minister. They are planning to meet HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar to discuss the issue. They claim that the parents of Gujarati medium students are misguiding the Government of Gujarat.

The parents of English medium students from the state have submitted a memorandum to the state government mentioning that parents of Gujarati medium students are resorting to false propaganda. Most of the parents are afraid that their children might get fewer marks in the NEET examination, and as a result, they are spreading false rumours.

The parents of English medium students also indicated that there are fewer takers for the English medium examination, and the government is supporting the majority.

On the other hand, Education Minister of Gujarat met Mr. Prakash Javadekar and raised concern over the Gujarati medium students. Now, the parents of English medium students are expressing their concern over the fact that their children might not get admission if the centre releases separate merit list for Gujarati students.

Therefore, parents of English medium students decided to meet the Union HRD Minister, and seek justice.

It seems like NEET controversies are becoming more severe day by day. It is time for the centre to give an official announcement on the issue that will reduce the tension among the parents.
