NEET UG 2026 May 3 Exam Cancelled:The National Testing Agency has voided the NEET UG 2026 exam due to integrity concerns for approximately 2.2 million medical candidates, which was held on May 3, 2026. Already, the Govt of India has handed over the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation for further investigation. As per the report published by the Rajasthan Special Operation Group, the investigators recovered a handwritten suggestion paper including 120 similar questions with the actual NEET 2026 exam paper. NTA accepts the allegation that they received the same inputs on the evening of May 7, 2026 (that is, after four days of the examination). Based on that, the agency has decided to walk out for the independent verification, and then the necessary action will be taken. NTA made a promise for the sake of the genuine test takers that their hard work would not go in vain.
When will the NEET UG 2026 re-exam be held?
The NEET UG 2026 re-exam date is yet to be announced. Soon, the same will be declared by the NTA on the official website. Experts assume that the NEET UG 2026 re-exam will likely be held on the last Sunday of May, that is, on May 31, 2026. For the same, the candidates do not need to fill out any fresh application form or pay any additional registration fees. Already, the candidates who have successfully registered themselves before the last date can appear for the re-exam. Only the NTA will release a fresh admit card for the candidates before 6 to 7 days of the scheduled exam date. Candidates do not need to panic anymore; instead, memorize the lessons again.
