CBSE 12th Result 2026 (SOON) Live Updates:
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the CBSE 12th result 2026 anytime soon, today (May 13, 2026), on the official website. Candidates can get access to the CBSE Class 12 results through
result.cbse.nic.in
2026 and
cbscresult.nic.in
2026 by entering their login credentials, such as the roll number. Apart from the official websites, the candidates can check their 12th result via the UMANG App and DigiLocker App, and also via SMS.
As per the result statistics,
Trivandum is the top-performing region with a passing percentage 95.62% in the CBSE 12th exam 2026; whereas Chennai is at the second-best-performing district with 93.84%, and Bengaluru is at the third position with 93.19% passing rate. Girls outshine the CBSE Class 12 result than boys. The passing percentage of the girls and boys candidates are 88.86% and 82.13%. The overall passing percentage for this year is 85.20%.
The passing percentage is lower than the last year.

Who are eligible for CBSE 12th Compartment Exam?
- Fail in one subject, but pass the rest of the subjects.
- However, if the candidates fail in two or more subjects and are categorised as "ER", then they are not eligible to appear for the Compartment exam. In such a case, candidates should retake all the subjects in the next year.

When will I receive CBSE 12th Marksheet 2026?
After releasing the CBSE 12th result 2026, the candidates will immediately receive the Digital marksheet on the DigiLocker App or UMANG App. Note that the digital marksheet will be accepted by all the Indian Universities for the admission process.
Post that, after 15 to 30 days from the result release date, the candidates can collect their original physical marksheets from their respective schools. Usually, the candidates will receive a notice or email from the school authority once the same is ready for distribution.
