NEST 2026 application form editing starts April 17, 2026 (10 AM) and closes April 18, 2026 (11:30 PM) at nestexam.in. Login to correct academic info, permanent address, photo/signature, and exam city preferences. Your name, DOB, email, mobile, and gender are non-editable. No fee is charged for corrections, except if a category change requires a payment difference. Take a printout of the application summary after editing.
NEST 2026 Application Form Editing Starting Date:The NEST 2026 application form correction process will begin onApril 17, 2026. As per the schedule, the application form correction window will be activated at 10 AM. Candidates who want to make corrections in the NEST application form should visit the official website-nestexam.inand complete the process on or beforeApril 18, 2026 (till 11.30 PM).
To edit the NEST 2026 application form, the candidates should log in using their login credentials, such as the user ID and password. Before submitting the application form, the candidates should check every field. It is advised that the candidates should take a printout of the “application summary” after editing it.
NEST 2026 Application Form Editing: Important Instructions to Follow
Candidates should not think that they can edit all the fields in the NEST 2026 application form. They are allowed to edit only the following details.
NEST 2026 Application Form Editable Details
- Academic Information, such as Class 10 and Class 12 board names, passing year, passing percentage/ CGPA, and roll number of the candidates
- Personal Details such as Father’s/Mother’s name, guardian details
- Contact Information (permanent address)
- Photograph and signature of the candidates, if the previous ones were blurred
- Exam city preferences. Candidates can rearrange or change the five test cities' preferences.
NEST 2026 Application Form Non-Editable Details
- Name of the candidates
- Date of birth
- Primary Email ID & Mobile Number
- Gender of the candidates
Note that the candidates do not need to pay any fees for correcting the NEST 2026 application form. Only if they want to change their category, then they should pay the difference (for instance, if a reserved category candidate wants to appear for the exam as a general candidate, then they have to pay the additional application fees). However, if the higher-fee category candidates select a lower-fee category, then the difference is non-refundable.
