NISER - School of Mathematical Sciences has begun its application process for the Summer Project Programme. The Summer Project Programme at NISER will be held from 13th May to 19th July 2019.
The primary aim of the NISER Summer Objective Programme is to provide meritorious students with an opportunity to learn advanced topics in the field of Theoretical Computer Science, Mathematics and Statistics. The students selected for the same will also get a chance to interact with the faculty members of the institute.
NISER Summer Project Programme Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be currently studying an integrated Bachelor/ M.Sc/ Master degree course with good academic records.
NISER Summer Project Programme Application Procedure
The students will be required to connect with the faculty member with whom they want to work. Once the faculty member agrees to guide the respective student, then the student will have to send the scanned copy of the filled in application form along with the CV through email to the concerned family member. Students can send their application latest by 11th March 2019. The duration of the Summer Project Programme is eight weeks and it will be decided on the availability of both students and mentors.
Students selected for the internship will be paid round trip second class sleeper train fare. Apart from this, the institute will also provide accommodation facility to the students subject to availability. The list of the selected candidates will be published on the official website of School of Mathematical Sciences of NISER on 26th March 2019.

If an applicant is selected for the Summer Project Programme, then the original application form and a signed copy of the CV needs to be submitted in the School of Mathematical Sciences office during their visit to the institute.
