Odisha Board HSC (10th) Exam 2022 evaluation will be done in three ways by the Odisha board. The final marks and grades will be awarded to the students as per the outcome obtained in all three ways. This was officially announced by Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra on Saturday, March 12, 2022. As per his announcement, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) which holds the 10th exam and is responsible for publishing the result had conducted a meeting with students, teachers, and parents. The meeting was conducted with the purpose to discuss the exam conduct and declaration of results.

As per the decision of the meeting, a Summative Assessment-II (SA-II) examination will be conducted for Class 10th students. The assessment will be conducted in the offline mode from April 29th to May 6th, 2022, and will be conducted to evaluate the student's performance in the second half course period. Summative Assessment-I (SA-I) was conducted from January 5, 2022, and held for four days. The internal assessment was also conducted by the board for Odisha class 10th students.

The BSE board has decided that the evaluation for Odisha Board Class 10th students will be done on the basis of 3 different methods. As per the first method, the weightage of Summative Assessment-I and internal assessment will be doubled. As per the second method, the weightage of Summative Assessment-II will be doubled for the result. The third and last method will include an internal assessment. This internal assessment will be on the basis of 30 percent of SA-I, 20 percent of internal assessment, and 50 percent in SA-II. That means if a student has attained 57 in the first method, 52 in the second method, and 54 in the third method in any subject, then that student will get the highest marks (57 marks) among all three as the final score.
