Odisha Plus 2 First Cutoff 2023 PDF: For the first round of admissions counselling, the Department of School & Mass Education, Odisha is to release the first seat allotment list today, July 6, 2023, at 11:45 AM. Along with the selection list, the institute-wise cutoff or closing ranks will also be released. These ranks will be sorted as per the reservation categories for each college. Candidates who are not satisfied with the round 1 seat allocation can opt for the Slide-Up option and edit their college preferences for a better allotment.

Important Pointers:

• In the second counselling round, the cutoff for each category and institute will decrease when compared to that in the first round.
• Thus, the candidates with a rank in the same range as that of an institute’s cutoff will have a better chance of admission at the institute.
• In this manner, candidates can refer to Odisha Plus 2 2023 first cutoff list to try for a better allotment in the upcoming round.
• To avoid issues such as non-betterment or non-allocation, candidates shall enter at least 3 to 5 colleges in their rank range while the candidate’s higher institute preferences can be listed at top in the option form at the top.
• It is also important to note that in order to go for Round 2, the candidate must pay the seat acceptance fee (if allotted) and select ‘Yes’ in the ‘Slide-Up Request’ option.
• The default setting of ‘Slide-Up Request’ is ‘No’ and hence, if the candidate leaves the same unmarked and fails to take admission at the Round 1 allotted institute, then his/her allocation will be cancelled. Such students will be ineligible to participate in Round 2 or Spot selection round.
