ONGC to offer Scholarships to Meritorious SC/ST Students
ONGC To Offer 1,000 Scholarships to meritorious SC/ST students. Through the scholarship, students can pursue professional courses in Engineering, Medical Stream, 2 year Masters Degree in Business Administration, Geology and Geophysics.
The ONGC or Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd will give 1,000 meritorious ST/ ST students worth Rs.48,000 per annum. The students who qualify for the scholarships will get the amount annually for pursuing professional in Engineering, Medical, MBA, Geology, and Geophysics.
The scholarships are available in online mode and the students can apply latest by October 15.
The notification released against the policies of the ONGC Scholarship Schemes has listed the norms under which, the scholarship of 48,000 rupees will be offered to 1,000 Meritorious ST and SC students.
ONGC Scholarship SC/ST Students Eligibility Criteria
- Half of the 1,000 scholarships are reserved for girl students in the mentioned sectors.
- For postgraduate programs, candidate must have a bachelor's degree.
- For undergraduate programs, the minimum educational qualification is 10+2 pass.
- The candidates must have scored at least 60% in the last qualifying examination to be eligible for the scholarship.
- The candidate must be lower than the age of 30 before October 1
- The final list of the selected candidates for the scholarship will be released on 10th December 2019
