Osmania University Announces Ph.D. Admissions

Osmania University has released an official notification for the admission to the Ph.D. course in Faculties of Oriental Languages, Informatics, Pharmacy, Technology, Engineering, Education, Management, Law, Commerce, Science, Social Sciences and Arts for the academic years 2014-15 to 2016-17. Osmania University Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria:

• The applicants must have qualified Master’s degree in regular or distance mode in relevant subject with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• However, for SC/ ST candidates 50% in PG degree is enough to apply for the Ph.D. course.
• Apart from the above-mentioned eligibility criterion, the applicants must have a valid NET/ TS-SET/ AP-SET/ Ph.D. Eligibility Test 2016 (conducted by Osmania University)/ GATE/ GPAT/JEST score.
• Candidates who have qualified M.Phil can also apply to the Ph.D. course offered by Osmania University.

Osmania University Application Process for Ph.D. Course: -

• Offline application process is not available for enrolling in the Ph.D. course.
• Applicants must visit the official website of Osmania University.
• Check ‘News’ section on the official website.
• One can find the Ph.D. Admission notification link under the ‘News’ tab.
• Click on the Ph.D. Admissions link after which a new page opens.
• Here, click on ‘Application Form’.
• The application form will be displayed in a PDF format.
• Download the application.
• Take the printout of application form.
• Fill up the application after reading rules and regulations printed on it.
• Enclose all the necessary documents.
• Draw a Demand Draft of Rs. 250 in favour of Dean of concerned faculty, Osmania University, payable at Hyderabad.
• Submit or send the application form to the office of concerned dean on or before December 02, 2017.
