Pondicherry University to Accept CAT 2018 Scores for MBA-IB Admissions

The Department of International Business at Pondicherry University will begin the admission process for its MBA-IB programme from 24th January 2019. This programme won the ‘Dewang Mehta Award for the best calibre syllabus inputs across India, and the students can look forward to securing admission in this programme on the basis of their CAT scores.

MBA-IB has a sanctioned intake of 72 students and the MBA IB at DIB attracts students who are looking at making a career in this highly competitive world. The DIB is on the lookout for committed, passionate and talented students for pursuing MBA-IB, said K Mahesh, Public Relations Office, (Pondicherry University).

Mahesh further said that the programme will train students in the practical aspects of conducting international business in a competitive world. Currently, DIB has a two-year full-time MBA-International Business with a specialisation in Cross-Cultural Management, International Finance, Global Operations and Systems, and Transnational Marketing & Branding, and Human Resource.

B.Com/B.Com (CA)/BBA/BCA/B.Sc (Statistics/Mathematics/Computer Science) /B.Tech/BE students with 50% marks can apply for MBA-IB. For SC/ST and PwD candidates, passing marks in these subjects are necessary. DIB will shortlist the eligible candidates after looking at their CAT scores in the third week of March 2019 and then the candidates will be further notified for counselling and admission.

NRI and foreign nationals will be exempted from this selection process but they will have to route their applications through ICCR/MHRD, and the NRI candidates can apply directly to the head of the department with NRI proof status.
