RBSE Class 12 Political Science Question Paper Controversy: Union Education Ministry writes to Rajasthan Governemnt
Union Ministry of Education writes to the Rajasthan Education Board on Class 12 Political Science Question Paper over a concerning matter. Allegedly the question paper included six questions revolving around the achievements of Congress.
The Union Ministry of Education raises its concern over a Class 12 Question Paper of Political Science. The Ministry has written to Rajasthan Education Department on the same concern. Reportedly, the Class 12 Political Science Question Paper had six questions about the 'Achievements of Congress Party'.
The Union Ministry of Education in its letter sent on Monday states that a news item has been prepared for the press. Along with relevant copies of the question paper, which is self-explanatory on the matter, were attached. The Ministry of Education also seeks a response or comment on the same from the Rajasthan Government. The question paper was scrutinized and enquired if it was a Political Science Question Paper or a Question Paper on Congress History.

On the matter of the Class 12 Political Science Question Paper, the state BJP party tweeted in Hindi stating that many students appearing in the exams of Class 12 were confused if it was a Political Science Question Paper or on the History of the Congress Party. The BJP party added in its tweet that perhaps Gehlot (Chief Minister of Rajasthan) has considered Congress as a part of History.
Previously, in November, a question was asked on a CBSE Sociology Question Paper on the Gujarat Riots. It had created a controversy, that the CBSE board had to apologize and promise to take strict action against those who were responsible for the matter. The question that created the controversy was an MCQ question with four options: Democratic, Congress, Republican, and BJP. The question asked was “The unprecedented scale and spread of anti-Muslim violence in Gujarat in 2002 took place under which government?”.
