Super 60 in Rajasthan Trains Candidates for UPSC and Government Job Exams
- Vinod Seema and Meena who are working as teachers at a government school run the coaching institute meant for the underprivileged tribal youth.
- Around 300 students who were trained in this coaching institute have successfully bagged government jobs.
Similar to what Super 30 has been doing in Bihar to train the underprivileged engineering aspirants for IIT entrance examination, a couple in Rajasthan are now offering free coaching to students for competitive exams aimed at cracking government jobs in the country. Teachers at government schools by profession, both Seema and Vinod Meena have been running coaching classes through an initiative called ‘Nishulk Guidance Classes’. The coaching for competitive exams is being offered to 60 students who belong to poor and deprived classes of the tribal regions. A screening test is conducted to select the students best fit for the same.

Vinod Meena cracked UPSC Civil Services prelims and mains exam thrice but did not clear the interview round thereafter. After that, he decided to share his knowledge with the youth who cannot afford coaching classes and wish to make a career in the government job sector. It was this motive that encouraged him and his wife to start this initiative to help candidates. In an interview, Seema explained that they had to face a lot of resentment with regard to the free coaching classes concept. On one hand, they did not have a registered coaching centre and on the other, they did not want to be regarded as an NGO either.
Super 60 programme, i.e., free coaching classes for underprivileged students from the tribal community has also attracted a few volunteers who came forward to teach students. Mr. Chandra Prakash Sharma, one among them, revealed that he always wanted to contribute towards the society in some way and taking up teaching brings to him a sense of fulfilment and content.

The Civil Services coaching classes take place for a duration of four hours every day except on Sundays. Both, Vinod Meena and Seema spend Rs. 20,000 every month from their salary to pay for the rent and stationery. So far, around 300 students who were trained here emerged successful and bagged government jobs.
