THE World Reputation Rakings: IISc in Top 100

Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has once again proved its dominance in world university rankings. In the recent THE (Times Higher Education) World Reputation Rankings, IISc has featured in the band of 91-100 ranks for the second time. It was in the year 2011, IISc bagged a spot in the list of top 100 institutes across the world.
The following are the top four universities across the globe that featured in THE World Reputation Rankings: -
- Harvard University (US)
- Massachusetts Institute of Technology (US)
- Stanford University (US)
- Cambridge University (UK)

The ranking authority has compiled the data from a global representative survey comprising of more than 10,000 senior academicians. The responsibility of the senior academicians was to highlight the top 100 most powerful university brands. US universities continue to dominate the rankings with 43 institutions featuring in the list of top 100. Harvard University topped the rankings for the eighth consecutive year. In all, half of the US universities featured in the list of top 100 universities across the globe.

IISC Bangalore is one of the top institutes in India, which is known for its diverse academic courses and outstanding research out.
