TS-EDCET 2017 Results Out, 97.74 Percent Candidates Qualify

The results of state level B.Ed entrance examination in Telangana, i.e., TS-EDCET 2017 were out on July 27, 2017. This year, 97.74% students qualified for the admission to B.Ed course in various education colleges across the state. According to a report, 58,738 candidates appeared for the examination, and 57,413 students have qualified in the entrance test. The overall pass percentage of boys is 98.68 percent while the overall pass percentage of girls is 97.35 percent.

All the subjects recorded a higher pass percentage as compared to the previous years. On the other hand, the demand for two-year B.Ed course has increased this year. In Andhra Pradesh, the number of candidates who appeared and qualified in EDCET examination was also high. Almost 70% of seats in B.Ed colleges in Telangana are expected to be filled this year.

Toppers of TS-EDCET 2017 Examination: -

• H. Lakshmi Vara Prasad stood as the topper in Social Studies.
• Tasneem Sultana bagged the first rank in English.
• V. Madhuri, G. Saidachary and S. Vamsi secured the first rank in Mathematics, Physical Sciences and Biological Sciences respectively.

TS-EDCET 2017 results are available on official website. The B.Ed admission process will begin soon as per the schedule of TSCHE. B.Ed colleges across the state can fill 30% seats under management quota while 70% seats come under state quota. The TS-EDCET 2017 counselling schedule will be released soon.
