UGC NET Paper 1 Analysis 6 December 2023 Shift 1 & Shift 2 (Available): Topics asked, difficulty level

UGC NET Paper 1 Analysis 6 December 2023 (Shift 1): NTA has commenced UGC NET 2023 exam for the December cycle today. Day 1 (6th December) exam will be held in two sessions until December 14, 2023. Paper 1 of UGC NET 2023 exam is common to all candidates. Shift 1 exam will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon while Shift 2 from 3 pm to 6 pm. Paper 1 is divided into 10 sections whose weightage distribution is not pre-stated by the conducting authority of UGC NET. • The overall difficulty level of the Paper 1 was Easy to Moderate
• There were more questions based on the Research
• The overall difficulty level of the DI was Moderate to Difficult
• There were more questions from the reasoning and mathematics
• From current affairs there were 2-3 question
• The teaching aptitude question was easy to moderate
• The reading comprehension section was moderate
• Uneven distribution of questions
• There was one question from Number conversion in ICT
• The UGC NET question paper 2023 Shift 1 also had a question from the People Development Environment (Environment Day)
• As per the reaction received from the students, Paper 1 was more technical compared to the previous year

• The overall difficulty level of the Paper 2 English was Moderate 
• As per the first reaction, Paper 2 was lengthy which is the reason why many students have also said that Paper 2 was difficult

• The overall difficulty level of Paper 1 is Moderate to Difficult as per the first reaction received by students
• In People Development and Environment the question was asked about the blue baby syndrome
• Also question paper had questions form the time & distance, train speed and profile & loss
