UPTET 2021: OMR Sheets to Link with Aadhar Card, Major Changes Introduced For the Exam

UPTET 2021: Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2021 exam was scrapped due to the leak of question papers on November 28, 2021. In accordance with the same, the exam authorities also notified that the exam will be conducted within the next month. However, there has been no update regarding the exam dates for UPTET 2021. There has been no official notification released on the official website as well. Although, the basic Education Minister of the state, Satish Dwivedi has stated that the official dates for the exam will be out soon.

As stated by the State Education Minister, there have been some major changes introduced to the paper due to the leakage of paper previously. There will be separate envelopes for question paper, copies, and OMR sheets. Through this, the question paper and OMR sheet for each of the students will be kept separately. One of the major changes that have been introduced is the linkage of OMR sheets with the respective Aadhar Card of the candidate so that no solver can appear for the test.  The paper booklets will be kept in non-touchable packets and there will be strict security measures taken to transfer these to the exam hall.

The Education Minister also stated that the token for printing the question papers will be allotted to the printing companies that have experience of private printing. Moreover, the printing press will be located outside the state at a distance of at least 1000 KMs. After all the preparations are done, the exam dates will be released on the official website. The candidates need not pay any extra fee for the UPTET exam this year.
