Overall Overall adopters a divers range of programs with knowledgeable faculty. However infrastructure needs improvement, and placements could be more robust. Overall, its decent option for higher education.
In 2007, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accredited the College at B++ level with 83.15 score which is the highest in the Districts of Bankura, Purulia and Birbhum of West Bengal. With the opening of a Post Graduate course (M.Sc.) in Botany, the Botany Department of the college has become a constituent unit of the Department of Botany, University of Burdwan and the College is now enjoying the status of a constituent College.
