TheBarkatullah University campusincludes an administrative block, a library block, a life science block, a microbiology block, a law block, an applied aquaculture block, a humanities block, a social science block, a physics block, applied geology building, the institute of open and distance education block, the department of pharmacy block, the institute of technology block, hostel buildings, physical education building, guest house building,. BU Bhopal is also equipped with other facilities that serve the purpose of aiding students in personal and productive development. A few of the Barkatullah University facilities are medical facilities, a cafeteria, sports facilities, an auditorium, etc.
There is a total of six separate hostel facilities for boys and girls on the campus, three for boys and three for girls. All the BU Bhopal hostels are provided with basic facilities like water purifiers, common rooms, recreation rooms, mess, TV, laundry services, and security. The students run the BU Bhopal mess facility on a cooperative basis. The university has a functional library with a good inventory of books to enhance students’ academic and intellectual knowledge.
The BU Bhopal library has nearly 75,000 books, 5703 theses, 3000 research magazines, and 60 Sanskrit MSS. It subscribes to 15 daily newspapers and 12 weeklies, several monthly magazines, and some journals. BU Bhopal encourages students to participate in different sports activities and competitions.
