A 15-year-old Indian-American boy has completed his graduation in biomedical engineering and is all set to pursue his doctorate now.
Tanishq Abraham did his engineering from University of California, Davis and was honoured with summa cum laude. While speaking to the media, he expressed his happiness and said that he is proud of his accomplishments and wants to continue doing such work in the future as well.
As of now, he is going to get back into the lab at UCD for a Ph.D. degree and then eventually medical school. He further informed that he is interested in developing new effective treatments for cancer and allied research.

Apart from that, he has also designed a device that can measure the heart rate of patients suffering from burn without touching them.
Tanishq's parents, Taji and Bijou Abraham also expressed happiness at their son’s achievements who has managed to achieve a huge milestone at such a young age. While elaborating, they mentioned that Tanishq possesses a lot of passion for science. They often have to keep up with him so that he feels motivated and is driven to do more good work.

He has already been accepted for the graduate programme at the University of California, Davis where he plans to pursue his MD in the next 4 to 5 years.
