NEET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines and Dress Code

  • Reach centre before reporting time, late entry after gate closing not allowed
  • Carry NEET admit card with self declaration, without it entry not given
  • Bring one valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar/PAN/Passport etc), xerox not accepted sometimes
  • Passport size photo same as application form should be carried
  • No electronic items like mobile, bluetooth, calculator allowed inside
  • Rough work only on sheet given in exam hall, dont bring your own paper
  • Follow all instructions of invigilator, otherwise can be disqualified
  • Biometric attendance will be done, cooperate properly at centre

Dress Code (As per NTA Rules)

  • Wear light colour clothes with half sleeves, full sleeves not allowed generally
  • Avoid clothes with big buttons, brooch, badge or heavy embroidery
  • No shoes allowed, wear slippers or sandals with low heel only
  • Dont wear jewellery like rings, chains, earrings or any metallic items
  • Cap, goggles, watch all not allowed inside exam hall
  • If following religious dress, reach early for proper checking process
  • Customary dress allowed but need extra checking so come early
