Reputed company, Tech Mahindra conducted placement drive at Gitam University, Hyderabad for the final year engineering students on August 22, 2016. This is the first placement drive organised by the University in the academic year 2016-17. Director of Training and Placement Cell Dr. Venu Kumar said that the target of the University is to complete placements by December. Various multinational and national companies are going to visit the campus for recruitments from October.

The placement drive by Tech Mahindra at the campus received a grand response. Final year students from mechanical, civil, EEE and CSE attended the interviews. The company conducted interviews according to its formal procedure.
The selected students were congratulated by Vice-chancellor, heads of various departments and faculty members.The HR officials of Tech Mahindra appreciated the skills of the students and expressed their happiness over the labs and infrastructure facilities of the University.

Around 40 companies have already fixed the dates for the campus placements. The placements will commence from the first week of October.
