Will JEE Main Result 2026 Session 2 be Delayed?

As there are multiple errors in the preliminary answer of JEE Main 2026 Session 2, there have been rumours about the possible delay in the result announcement. The last date to file objections on the provisional answer key was April 13, and the result announcement date is April 20. This 7-day window could be enough for NTA to review objections and prepare the final answer key. Therefore, NTA might announce the results as per the scheduled date. In case there is a delay in the result announcement, NTA will officially announce it on April 20. On the other hand, JEE Advanced 2026 registration begins on April 23. This also indicates that NTA have 2 buffer days to postpone the result announcement to April 22 (if the reviewing of objections on the provisional answer key takes more time). Students are advised to refute any rumours pertaining to result announcement and wait for an official update.
