There will be total number of 606 examination centres for B.ed exams 2016. Examinations for two year course of B.ed for session 2016-2018 will be organiged on April 25.
This year examinations will be organized in 16 districts. Azamgarh district has also been added this year. Lucknow University will be organizing the examination this year. According to coordinator of entrence examination Y.K Sharma this year total 3,02,961 applications have been recieved. Last year there were only 1,83,316 application, which was 1,20,600 lesser than number of applications recieved for this year examination.
There are 60% female candidates this year, which is also an increase of 3 percent. There is also increase of almost 5 percent in SC/ST candidates. This year there are almost 46 percent SC/ST canditdates, 24 percent general candidates, 32 percent OBC candidates, 0.06 percent SC candidates who have filled the forms.
