JEE Advanced Application Form 2026: The registration for JEE Advanced 2026 is set to begin on April 23, 2026 (10:00 AM IST), paving a path for candidates to take a step closer to securing admission into the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). JEE Advanced is the second stage after qualifying for JEE Main. Only the top candidates of JEE Main 2026 are eligible to apply. According to the official calendar, the application process will be open until May 2, 2026, and the deadline for payment of fees will also be till May 4, 2026. Candidates should apply for the examination only after confirming that they are eligible as per the eligibility conditions, such as rank cut-offs, age limits for candidates, and the number of attempts.

    Age Limit and Attempt Conditions

    • Candidates must be born on or after October 1, 2001.
    • SC, ST, and PwD candidates receive a 5-year relaxation in age criteria.
    • A candidate can attempt JEE Advanced only twice in two consecutive years.
    • Candidates exceeding the attempt limit will not be allowed to register.
    • These criteria ensure fairness and limit repeated attempts.

    Eligibility: Top 2.5 Lakh JEE Main Candidates

    • Only candidates ranking among the top 2,50,000 in JEE Main 2026 (B.E./B.Tech) are eligible.
    • The selection includes category-wise distribution such as OPEN, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and GEN-EWS.
    • A 5% horizontal reservation is also applicable for PwD candidates.
    • Meeting this cutoff is mandatory before proceeding with registration.
    • Final eligibility depends on fulfilling all conditions, not just JEE Main rank.
