Admission Notice - Acharya University Announces Admission into Law Courses- 2016
School of Law Acharya University invites applications for admissions to five-year integrated LLB programme and three-year LLB programme for the academic session 2106
Selection Procedure -
Acharya University will be conducting the interview through Skype. The selections will be made on the basis of the online interview. Candidates, however, need not appear in entrance exam or any other national level test score is not required.
Eligibility Criteria –
Candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria as mentioned below –
For BA LLB and BBA LLB
Candidates who cleared 12th examination from a recognized university/ Board from India or foreign country are eligible to apply
45% marks for candidates from General category in aggregate of all subjects in the qualifying examination
40 % marks for candidates from SC/ST category in aggregate of all subjects
Those who have passed 10+2 qualifying examination or first-degree certificate from open school or in correspondence mode are also eligible to apply
Age limit –
General category candidates must not be more than 20 years of age as on June 1, 2016
SC/ST category candidates must not be more than 22 years of age as on June 1, 2016
For LLB –
Candidates must hold a Bachelor degree in any discipline from any recognized university of India or foreign country
Candidates from General category must have score 45% or more in aggregate of all subjects in the qualifying examination of the bachelor degree programme
Candidates from SC/ST category must have score minimum 40% marks in aggregate of all subjects of bachelor degree programme
Age limit –
Candidates belonging to General category must be 30 years or less as on June 1, 2016
SC/ST candidates must be 35 or less as on June 1, 2016
Candidates need to apply before the last date of application i.e. June 15, 2016.
Candidates also need to remit an application fee of Rs. 1000 in online mode only.
