Forest Research Institute (FRI), Dehradun invites applications for admission to Master of Science (M.Sc) program offered in Forestry, Wood Science & Technology, Environment Management and Cellulose & Paper Technology for the commencing session 2016.
Eligibility Criteria for-
M.Sc in Forestry Program: Candidates should have three years bachelor’s degree in science with at least one of the subjects namely Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Forestry
M.Sc in Wood Science & Technology Program: Candidates should have three years bachelor’s degree with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or B.Sc degree in Forestry.
M.Sc in Environment Management Program: Candidates should have three years bachelor’s degree in any branch of basic or applied Sciences or bachelor’s degree in Forestry or Agriculture or BE/B.Tech in Environment Science.
M.Sc in Paper Technology Program: Candidates should have three years bachelors degree in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects or BE/B.Tech (Chemical or Mechanical Engineering).

Candidates can download the application form from the website of the Institute.
Information Bulletin and application form can be obtained by post by submitting a Bank Draft for Rs. 1200/- payable at Dehradun in favour of Registrar, FRI (Deemed) University, P.O.I.P.E., Kaulagarh Road, Dehradun–248 195.
Application forms will also be available from the counter of the Union Bank of India (FRI Branch, Dehra Dun).
Selection Procedure-
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the admission test conducted by the institute.

Last date for issue of application forms by post: Monday, March 21, 2016.
Last date for issue of application forms from Institute’s/bank counter: Thursday, March 31, 2016.
Last date for receiving completed application forms: Monday, April 04, 2016.
Date of admission test: Sunday, May 08, 2016.
