Admission Notice- M.Phil/Ph.D Programs 2015-16 of Dravidian University Announced.
Dravidian University, Kuppam invites applications for admission to full-time and part-time Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programs offered for the session 2015-16.
The doctorate program is offering in Philosophy, Comparative Dravidian Literature, English, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Tulu, Linguistics, Folklore, History, Education, Physical Education, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Library and Information Science and Management.
Candidates with master’s degree from Dravidian University or recognized as equivalent thereto with minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) marks in the concerned subject are eligible.
Candidates have to qualify in the (DURCET) entrance test conducted by Dravidian University
Candidates who have qualified in GATE/UGC NET/ SLET/ UGC-RGNF/CSIR INSPIRE holders/ any SET of southern states examination are exempted from DURCET-2015.
Candidates are selected based on the rank obtained in Dravidian University Research Common Entrance Test (DURCET-2015) conducted by the institute or national level test (GATE/UGC-JRF/UGC-CSIR-JRF/UGC-NET) and State Level Eligibility Test (SLET).
How to Apply
Filled application form should be sent by post along with DD of Rs.550/- (Rs.450/- for SC/ST/PHC) in favor of “The Registrar, Dravidian University” payable at Kuppam.
Applications and prospectus can also be obtained from the Office of the Dean, Academic Affairs, Dravidian University, Kuppam-517 426. DD for Rs.500/- (Rs.400/- for SC/ST/PHC) in person.
Candidate can also apply online through the online of the University
Last date for the receipt of filled in application forms: Monday, November 30, 2015 (before 5.00 PM).
Date of entrance test: Saturday, December 12, 2015, at 2.00 PM.
