Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh for admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Master of Science (MSc) in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), M.Sc Nursing, Master in Health Administration (MHA), Master of Public Health (MPH) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programs offered in various specializations for the session July, 2016.
Eligibility Criteria-
For MD/MS Programs: Candidates should have completed MBBS degree with minimum 55% marks from a medical college recognized by medical council of India.
For MDS Program:
Candidate must have hold degree of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) of Panjab University or any other University recognized by Dental Council of India.
Candidates must have completed or due to complete compulsory rotatory internship training on or before 30th June for July session.
For MHA Program: Candidates must have completed MBBS, or its equivalent qualification, from a university/ institute recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) with three years experience after passing MBBS examination.
For MPH Program: Candidates must have completed their MBBS/BDS/B.V.Sc/BE/MA/M.Sc examination or its equivalent qualification from recognized university/institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
For M.Sc Nursing Program: Candidates should have B.Sc Nursing/Post-Basic from an Institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and PGIMER, Chandigarh as equivalent thereto with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
How to Apply
Candidate have to pay Rs. 1,000/- for general & all other categories & all other categories and Rs. 800/- for SC/ST candidates towards application fee.
Selection Procedure-
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination conducted by the institute.
