University of Rajasthan had announced admissions to M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses through MPAT 2015-16 . The application process has now moved into phase-2 of it, which there are vacant seats available for direct admission through an entrance test. Interested candidates can apply online by December9, 2015.
Important Notes:
1. There are two M.Phil. Program: (i) in English Literature and (ii) in English Language Teaching.
2. Ph.D. supervisors in Botany guide Ph.D. work in Bio-technology as well.
3. Ph.D. supervisors in Zoology guide Ph.D. work in Micro-biology as well.

Eligibility Criteria:
• Applicant must have obtained the Master’s degree with at least 55% marks at Post-Graduate examination of this University or of any other University / Institution recognized as equivalent thereto in any subject provided that the master’s degree should have been obtained after taking Bachelor’s degree
• A relaxation of 5% in the minimum eligibility shall be applicable to the candidates belonging to the categories of SC / ST / physically handicapped and Visually Impaired

Candidates can apply online following these simple steps:
Candidate Registration:
• Start the procedure of Registration by creating login account on the official website of University of Rajasthan
• In registration window enter your Full name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Date of Birth (As mentioned in your Secondary School Certificate), Sex, Mobile No. and a valid E-mail ID.
Payment Details:
The fee prescribed for this Test is Rs. 1,900/- + Rs. 5/- extra for Bank Service Charges. The candidates are required to deposit the prescribed fee (Rs. 1905/-) at any branch of ICICI Bank through on-line generated Bank Challan latest by December 10, 2015.
Admission Procedure:
In the second phase, open entrance test will be conducted for the remaining seats in different subject. The admission to the candidates will be granted on the basis of their performance in the entrance test and their previous academic record will also be taken into consideration.
The result of the entrance test will be declared on January 9, 2016.
