University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun invites applications for admission to Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan) and Master of Planning (M.Plan) programs offered in the School of Planning and Architecture for the academic session 2016. UPES offers M. Plan with specialization in Urban & Regional Planning, Environmental Planning, and Transportation Planning.
Eligibility
For B.Plan Program:
Minimum 50% marks in class X and minimum XII with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Statistics as a compulsory subject in class XII are eligible for U-PAT (UPES Planning Aptitude Test) – Online Test and admission on Merit Ranking.
For M.Plan Program:
Candidates with minimum 50% marks at higher & senior secondary level (10th & 12th)
Candidate should have a graduate degree in B. Tech/ BE in Civil/ Planning/ Architecture Engineering or Master’ Degree in Geography/ Economics / Sociology with minimum 55% marks.
How to Apply
Candidates can purchase the UPES prospectus and application form by sending a demand draft of Rs.1, 850 in favour of "UPES Fee Account", payable at New Delhi to "University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Enrolment Office, 210, 2ndFloor, Okhla Industrial Estate, Phase-III, New Delhi 110020."
Candidates can purchase UPES prospectus and application on a cash payment of Rs.1, 750 from admission counters at Ahmedabad/ Chandigarh/ Cochin/ Coimbatore/ Delhi/ Dehradun/ Hyderabad/ Kolkata/ Mumbai.
Candidates can apply online by paying Rs.1, 850/-.
Selection Procedure
For B.Plan Program: Candidates are selected based on the U-PAT or board merit/ JEE Main 2016/ NATA 2016 Pathway
For M.Plan Program: Candidates are shortlisted and called for the interview conducted at the University for the final selection.
