Admission Notice: UPES’ School of Design Studies Announces Admission to B.DES, BFA, M.DES Courses 2016

UPES’ School of Design Studies has opened its gates for students interested for admission to B.DES, BFA, M.DES courses 2016.

Application Procedure:

I. Bachelors of Design (B. Des)

A. Examination Pathway:

UPES Design Aptitude Test (UPESDAT) followed up by Personal Interview and presentation on the work portfolio

B. Non - Examination Pathway:

On the basis of Board Merit / JEE Mains 2016/UCEED 2016 Merit followed up by Personal Interview and presentation on the work portfolio

II. Bachelors of Fine Arts (B. FA)

a. UPES Design Aptitude Test (UPES – DAT)

b. Personal Interview and presentation on the work portfolio

III. Master of Design (M. Des)

a. Valid CEED 2015 or 2016 score or Valid UPES Design Aptitude Test (UPES – DAT) score

b. Personal Interview and presentation on the work portfolio.

Eligibility Criteria:

I. Bachelors of Design (B. Des)

A. For Examination Pathway:

Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)

B. For Non Examination Pathway:

Board Merit: Minimum 65% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th).

JEE Mains/UCEED Merit: Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)

II. Bachelors of Fine Arts (B. FA)

Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary Level (10th & 12th)

III. Master of Design (M. Des)

a. Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary Level (10th & 12th)

b. B. Tech / BE in any discipline / B. Arch / BFA 4 years / 3 years B.Sc in Design plus 1 year of Foundation / B. Des / Applied Arts with minimum 50% marks

Entrance Exam: UPES Design Aptitude Test (UPESDAT) – 12 - 15 April, 2016

Interviews and Presentation of Portfolio: 22 - 24 April, 2016 in New Delhi, Dehradun (Complete venue details will be shared shortly)

Master of Design (M.Des)

Entrance Exam: UPES Design Aptitude Test (UPESDAT) – 21-22 April, 2016

Interviews and Presentation of Portfolio: 25 April, 2016 in New Delhi, Dehradun (Complete venue details will be shared shortly)
