The AICTE-CII survey has finalised 50 technical, engineering, management and pharmacy institutes from the state of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. According to the AICTE sources, there are various surveys which evaluate the institutions of higher education in the field of management, pharmacy, management and engineering. However, there is no such of evaluation process in which both the academia and industry has collaboarted.
The prime objective of AICTE-CII survey is to help understand the strengthe and weakness of the institutions from both industry and academic point of view. The survey will also help in assessing the the strength of institutes in the terms of providing the human capital.
A senior official of AICTE informed that there are two steps in the AICTE-CII full survey. In the first step of the survey instituions are asked to submit a data of the courses and facilities being offered.The institutes are evlauated on the basis of their industry linkages on six parameters which include infrastructure, faculty, governance,curriculum,infrastructure, skill development, placements and prjects/services.

Once the AICTE-CII survey is compelete, it will be declaring the Best- Industry linked institute in any engineering stream at degree level and at diploma level (sepraetly).Similarly, AICTE-CII will be ranking the best institutes in the field of pharmacy and management.
This will help indenify the institutes to provide any support such as placement, internship. incubation, startup activities.The survey will also help to identify those instutions which lack these parameters.
