A lot of complaints were coming related to the central scholarship scheme and these complaints were addressed yesterday i.e 12th September' 16 in a meeting which included the HRD Minister, Prakash Javadekar. The minister told the reporters that during the following years a lot of students suffered from confusion and were misguided but now AICTE is going to solve all the problems.
AICTE is the All India Council for Technical Education which is trying to solve all the problems related to the centre's scholarship scheme which was given to Jammu and Kashmir students. They are trying to make the scheme reliable again and are determined to help all the students from J&K which are experiencing any kind of problem.
Javadekar mentioned that there are total four to five kinds of cases that AICTE has to deal with which should not be a big problem. He said that the numbers are already increasing as this year almost 10 students took admission per college under Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme. This number used to be 2 but the government has laid down a robust system which is helping with the numbers.
