National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC) and Department of Psychiatry, AIIMS, New Delhi is organising its “First National Conference on Addiction Psychiatry (NCAP-2017)”. The Conference will begin on November 27 and go on until November 29, 2017. The theme of the conference is "Emerging Trends in Addiction Psychiatry". The venue for the conference is Conference Hall, AIIMS, New Delhi, India.
Theme of the AIIMS Conference:
Addiction is seen as a social illness and people suffering from it are judged by the society, even though addiction is more of a brain disease. The conference is organised in order to increase awareness among people and regarding issues related to treatment, prevention, policy, epidemiology, etiology, basic sciences and other facets of addictive behaviors.
Eligibility Details:
The conference invites counsellors, psychologists, psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, social workers members of NGOs who work in the field of substance use, legal personnel and anyone else who is interested the topic.
