AKTU to Hold Common Paper For B.Tech Entrance Examination

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Provisional University has decided bring some changes in process for 2017 - 2018 entrance examination. From now their will be a common paper for all the different courses of engineering for the entrance.

According to Vice Chancellor Vinay Kumar Pathak,'' We are going to make few changes in SEE examination pattern for student. we hope that this step will make process easier. Earlier we were having almost 14 to 15 papers for different courses in SEE and now we are deciding to work on a process of common paper for all the papers that will make entrance examination process much easier for students too."

AKTU is affiliating in nature and its jurisdiction spanned in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the largest technical universities not only in India but perhaps in Asia. Because of its size and the number of colleges affiliated to it and geographic dispersion, it is sub-divided into five zones with 45–50 colleges in each zone for the ease of management and facilitating inter-zonal comparison and possible internal competition to enhance quality of teaching-learning processes.

Till now there were separate examination papers for separate courses B.Tech like, Bachelor of Technology ( B.Tech), Bachelor of Architecture ( B. Arch), Bachelor of Bio Technology ( Bio Tech), and B.tech in Agriculture.
