The decision regarding revoking the ban on 30 companies was taken during 23rd AIPC meeting that took place at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B) on September 8, 2017. - Portea Medical
- Consult Line
As per the claims made by the students, AIPC had banned all the above-mentioned companies from taking part in placements as they had altered the job profiles offered to students at the time of discussions or had changed the salary terms for the graduates who were selected in the year 2015. The placement committee of IITs had also issued a warning letter to the companies in this regard. Popular e-commerce platform, Flipkart, was also one among the companies that deferred the joining dates of candidates.
