All India All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) is conducting an international webinar in partnership with Western Sydney University. The theme of the webinar is 'Yoga and Ayurveda Medicine for Mental Wellness. It will be held on November 5, 2020. The main aim of the webinar conducted by AIIA is to bring together the leading researchers in Yoga and Ayurveda from India and abroad such as Australia, Germany, and Italy. This will help them provide inputs through current international research.

The AIIA Webinar is a collaborative effort that will focus on mental wellness through Ayurveda and Yoga. This further aims to promote international and scientific research in the field of Yoga and Ayurveda. The chief guest for the occasion is Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for AYUSH, and Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, founder of the Art of Living Foundation.

Geoff Lee, MP, NSW Minister for Skills and Tertiary Education, and Acting Minister for Sport, Multiculturalism, Seniors, and Veterans, Member for Parramatta, NSW Government, Australia; Vd. Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India; Professor Barney Glover, AO Vice-Chancellor and President, Western Sydney University, Australia also will address the inaugural session.

The AIIA webinar will bring together scientific and international researchers from across the globe to discuss the possibilities, future strategies, concerns pertaining to mental wellbeing, and how Ayurveda and Yoga can play a vital role in the same. The webinar will also focus on generating awareness among the public regarding the scientific evidence of Ayurveda and yoga in mental wellbeing.
