Students pursuing B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. courses in Andhra Pradesh will be allowed to pursue internships and take up project works in Germany. For this pursue, APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with German Academic Council in April 2020. Almost 150 universities located in Germany will be a part of this council. As a part of the MoU, one professor from Germany shall visit Andhra Pradesh to inspect universities and colleges.
According to the MoU, B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. students will be offered internships in industries and universities located in Germany, and free accommodation shall be provided to the students. However, students need to bear travelling expenses and other costs during their stay in Germany.
Students who are pursuing B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D at JNTU Kakinada and JNTU Anantapur must note that the selection for an internship opportunity in Germany will be confirmed by the varsity. Five B.Tech students from each university shall be selected under this scheme, while five M.Tech and 2 Ph.D. students shall be offered an internship in Germany,
One student each from B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. of other universities across universities will be selected for the internship while two B.Tech students from each private engineering are selected. A total number of 15 private engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh will be a part of this MoU.
More details with regard to the MoU between APSCHE and German Academic Council shall be confirmed in April 2020.
