XLRI Jamshedpur will set up its new campus in the new capital city of Andhra Pradesh – Amaravati. AP Cam laid the foundation stone for XLRI Amaravati on January 17, 2019.

Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu laid the foundation stone for XLRI (Xavier Labour Relations Institute) or Xavier Institute of Management in Amaravati on January 17, 2019. XLRI is one of the premier B-Schools in India, which will set up its new campus in the capital city of Andhra Pradesh – Amaravati. Director of XLRI Jamshedpur, Fr. E. Abraham SJ was also present at the event.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu indicated that XLRI located in Jamshedpur has emerged as one of the premier B-Schools in India by designing world-class facilities. XLRI practices what it preaches and the premier B-School observes value orientation in every aspect of life. AP CM congratulated XLRI Jamshedpur for completing 70 years. XLRI has always been successful in educating global business leaders and focused on training budding business leaders, he added.

XLRI Amaravati will be constructed at Inavolu village in Tullur mandal in 50-acres of land. The premier B-School shall be constructed to accommodate 5,000 students. XLRI Amaravati will offer UG and PG courses in management.

Fr. E. Abraham SJ pointed out that XLRI gives more emphasis to value-based management education to create responsible business leaders and plays a vital role in nation-development.

XLRI Amaravati will be the first B-School in the new capital region of Andhra Pradesh. The premier B-School is expected to start functioning from the upcoming academic session. The construction XLRI Amaravati has started, and it will be completed as early as possible.
